- Demember-Shazer tallied over 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds at Elmira High School … In her four seasons, the Express won four consecutive Section 4, Class AA titles … In her senior season, she averaged 15.2 points, 14.6 rebounds, 3.7 steals, and 3.1 blocks per game, receiving NYSSWA Class AA All-State Second Team and Elite 10 All-Star honors … Elmira also secured its first Southern Tier Athletic Conference championship that year, with Demember-Shazer collecting 12 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists in the title game against Oneonta … In her junior year, she recorded 17.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.6 blocks, and 2.5 steals per game … That season, she was named the 2018-19 Basketball Coaches Association Section 4 Class AA Player of the Year, and was selected to the NYSSWA Class AA All-State Third Team … Played AAU ball with BNY Select, and was teammates with fellow Red Fox Trinasia Kennedy.

She is a versatile player with a scorer's mentality and the ability to rebound in a crowd. Zaria is a dynamic athlete who hasn't even come close to reaching her ceiling yet."
