Adam Ritter

Adam Ritter is in his first season as an assistant coach for Marist Women's Soccer.

Ritter, a Class of 2004 graduate and a former men’s soccer, cross country, and track and field student-athlete at Marist, has most recently worked as the head women’s soccer coach at SUNY Dutchess Community College. Ritter began the Division III program in 2016. Prior to that, he was a coach for the Arlington High School Girl’s Soccer team. From 2008 to 2016, the Admirals captured a New York State championship (2016), two-time NY State finalist, and four-time AA Sectional Champion.

In his time as a student-athlete at Marist, Ritter played in three seasons with the men's soccer program. He was part of the program's MAAC Championship in 2000, and was a MAAC All-Academic selection in 2001. He was a former 500m school record holder in men's track from 2002-03, and was a MAAC All-Academic recipient for the cross country team in 2003. Ritter graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication.
 
Outside of soccer, Ritter is the Associate Director for Enrollment Marketing and Communication at Marist. In this role, he helps produce strategic marketing action plans across various mediums for Marist’s 47 undergraduate programs, 14 graduate programs, four site-specific locations, and four special academic opportunities.
