Amedio attended Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA. She was a four-year letterwinner as a forward, and was selected as a captain senior year. She was recognized as Massachusetts All-State, Boston Herald All-Scholastic, two-time All Eastern Mass All-Star (Division 1 first team), two-time Eastern Athletic Conference All-Star, and three-time Sun Chronicle All-Star. Amedio scored 78 goals and had 30 assists to total 108 all time points, 4th scorer in school history.  She was the two-time leading goal scorer in the Eastern Athletic Conference. She played club soccer with Boston Breakers ECNL and FC Boston Scorpions ECNL. Amedio was an honors student who achieved academic honor roll all four years. She is the daughter of John and Roberta and older sister to Ciana. She plans to study Biomedical Science while at Marist.
