Samarro attended Immaculate Heart Academy where she was part of a team that won league, county, and state champs in 2014 and 2015. The 2014 team was ranked #1 in the nation by the NSCAA. In high school, Samarro was selected to the All League Team: Big North United as a sophomore and junior, as well as the All Bergen County Team as a junior. She was the team Captain in 2016. She was part of the NJ Crush FC NPL Club Team and selected to Best XI by Top Drawer Soccer at NPL National Championships in 2015. She was the Team Captain. Samarro was a member of the national honors society. She is the daughter of Frank and Lori Samarro, and the oldest of four children. She plans to study environmental science at Marist.
