Tompkins has scored well over 1,000 points throughout her high-school career. She was awarded MVP for Dutchess County Conference and is a 2x NYS basketball coach association player of the year. On top of this, Tompkins was included in the Poughkeepsie Journal 2022 POY as well as the Daily Freeman POY. She was a member of the 2022 First Team All-State. She was both an NYS Scholar Athlete for all six years of high school sports and an MHAL scholar athlete. Aside from athletics, Morgan was a member of the National Honor Society. Before Marist, Tompkins played AAU with Piddock.
