Loudonville, NY---The Marist College men's tennis team (3-0) defeated host Siena College (3-2) this afternoon, without giving up any of the singles or doubles matches.

At number one singles Pat Hofer defeated Brian Onofry, 6-7(5-7), 6-1, 6-0. Martin Aldorsson stopped his opponent, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2, while David Slater earned the win at number three singles, 6-1, 6-4. Alex Ilchenko continued the streak winning 2-6, 6-4, 7-5, and Victor Sapezhnikov won easily for the Red Foxes, 6-0, 6-0. Nick Bass captured a win at number six singles over Brian Connor, 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.

The doubles teams of Aldorsson and Slater, Hofer and Bass, and Sapezhnikov and Nassif swept all three of their matches.

Marist returns to the courts this weekend at the ECAC Invitational in Boston, MA., starting at 9:00 am Friday morning.
