Lawrenceville, NJ---The Marist College women's swimming and diving team (1-1, 1-0 MAAC) beat Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference foe Rider University, 146-86, this afternoon.

The Red Foxes were led by double winners Jennifer Meyer (Fairport, NY), Amber Van De Carr (Rhinebeck, NY), and Jennifer Gelsomino (Harrison, NY). Meyer won the 50-yard freestyle (25.21) and the 100-yard freestyle (55.75). Van De Carr claimed victories in the 1-meter dive (217.58) and in the 3-meter dive (223.35). Gelsomino had a pair of wins in the 200-yard individual medley (2:12.28) and in the 200-yard butterfly (2:12.20).

Marist will next face Iona College this coming Tuesday, November 13th, at 7:00 pm, at the Red Foxes' McCann Center Natatorium.
