POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist University freshman Brady King was named Jersey Mike's Metro Atlantic Conference Men's Rookie of the Week, and sophomore Gabbie Norton was named Women's Diver of the Week once again.

Brady King had a stellar day for Marist in a dual meet against Binghamton on Saturday. He had a first-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:54.02. King also had a second-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.23 and helped Marist finish fourth in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:32.70.
 
Gabbie Norton placed first overall on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards against Binghamton on senior night. On the 3-meter boards Gabbie Norton placed first with a score of 287.33. Norton also finished first on the 1-meter boards with a score of 268.58.
 
This is the first MAAC weekly award for King and third for Norton.
 
The Red Foxes return to action on Wednesday Feb. 11 at the MAAC Championships in Geneva, OH.
