GENEVA, Ohio – The Marist swim and dive team finished a strong day one at the MAAC Championships. The women secured a bronze medal and a school record in the Women's 200-yard Medley Relay, and the men secured a silver medal in the Men's 800-yard Freestyle Relay.
 
The Red Foxes currently sit first on the women's side with 207 points and fourth on the men's side with 104 points, after one day of competition.
 

NOTABLE FINISHES

• In the first event of the evening, the Red Foxes finished third in the Women's 200-yard Medley Relay. The team of Ellie Kauffman, April Avila, Sabrina Conrad, and Anna Kirby secured Bronze with a school record time of 1:42.34.
• In the Women's 1-meter diving final, Lola Cahill finished sixth with a score of 227.85 and Gabbie Norton finished fifth with a score of 228.58.
• In the final event of the evening the men finished second in the Men's 800-yard Freestyle Relay. The team of Oscar Bjering, Adam Zaremba, Hunter Emerson, and Jack LaBianca secured silver with a time of 6:35.59.
