Marist Men's Swimming and Diving Team 15th Among Mid-Major Poll

Poughkeepsie, NY---The Marist College men's swimming and diving team is currently ranked 15th in the Mid-Major Poll, it was announced Thursday, January 10th, by CollegeSwimming.com.

Topping the listing is the United States Naval Academy (252.68 pts.), Southwest Missouri State (249.38), and Eastern Michigan University (247.84) who placed first through third respectively. The Red Foxes (223.76) edged out Colgate (222.53), St. Bonaventure (218.16) and American University (216.96).

Marist has captured six consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) titles, and last season placed third in the ECAC Championships, as well as concluding its third undefeated season in school history, 11-0. In addition, the Red Foxes have remained unbeaten among conference foes in dual meet competition to date, posting 39 consecutive wins against MAAC opponents since joining the conference in 1995.

The Red Foxes return to action on Tuesday, January 22nd, as they take on the Rams of Fordham University in their final home competition of the season. The swimming action is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
