Stony Brook, NY - The Marist College men's soccer team traveled to Stony Brook and lost 2-0 on Wednesday night. The loss puts the Red Foxes at 1-6 on the season.

Marist played to a scoreless tie through the first half before Josh Allen scored the first goal in the 56th minute off a deflection for Stony Brook. The Seawolves (1-8-1) struck again in the 78th minute when Chris Musinski put away a penalty kick in the upper left corner of the net to make it 2-0 and seal the win.

Mike Valenti (Sicklerville, NJ) had five saves for the Red Foxes on the evening.

The Red Foxes return to action on Saturday, October 5th, when they travel to Oneonta for a 2:30 p.m. match.
