POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — The Marist University men's soccer team rallied from a first-half deficit to earn a 2-1 victory over Saint Peter's on Wednesday afternoon inside Tenney Stadium.
"It was a tale of two halves," head coach Matt Viggiano '99 said. "I thought we played poor in the first half. Saint Peter's did a great job pressing. They were coming at us hard, they are a good team, and we just weren't up for the battle in the first half...to the guys' credit, they responded."
"Finally got the win at home, two in a row. You want to peak at the end of the year and win games, so we're heading in the right direction."
