Freshman Ray Josephs played another key role in the match, by notching a two-set victory over Joel Gamoran, 6-3, 6-3 in the number four singles. Fellow freshman Frank Algier also played well beating August Vorvis, 6-3, 6-2.

The match between junior Michael Nassif and the Huskies' Sam Sutherland was called due to darkness. Nassif and Sutherland had split sets (4-6, 6-4) and were in the middle of a third set (5-4 DNF) when the match was called.

The duo of Hagen and Santucci recorded the only doubles win on the day, defeating Sweatt and Sutherland, 8-5.
