Edison, NJ-The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) office announced the 2003 All-Academic Team for men's indoor track this afternoon.  The Red Foxes led all schools with 14 men named to the team.  To receive this honor, students must be in their second year of residence at the collegiate institution, and have a grade point average of at least 3.20.
Named to the men's team this year was junior Eli Bisnett-Cobb (Ballston Spa, NY).  Bisnett-Cobb is one of the top hurdlers for the Red Foxes this season.  Junior, Adam Ritter (Poughkeepsie, NY), who is running in his first season of collegiate track, was also named to the team, after breaking the school's 500-meter dash time of 1:07.82 set in 2002 at the Fastrack Invitational last weekend.
Rounding out the MAAC All-Academic Team were junior Richard Ambrosio (Medford, NY), senior Patrick Brodfuehrer (Syracuse, NY), sophomore William Colucci (Monmouth Beach, NJ), sophomore Geoffrey Decker (Delmar, NY), junior Kirk Dornton (Syracuse, NY), senior Ted Ebberts (Ogdensburg, NY), senior Jason Grady (Clinton Corners, NY), sophomore Michael Guarascio (Patchogue, NY), sophomore Nathaniel Parenti (Bearsville, NY), sophomore Eric Stelz (Commack, NY), sophomore Patrick Taylor (Baldwinsville, NY), and junior Charles Williams (Commack, NY).
The men's indoor track team returns to action Saturday, February 22nd, when they compete at the MAAC Championships on the campus of Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY.
