Men's Tennis Has Tough Day at Big Apple Classic

New York, NY- The Marist College men's tennis team had a tough day at the Columbia-Big Apple Classic failing to pick-up a victory.

In the main draw of Flight 'A' Singles, freshman Ray Josephs was unable to advance, falling to Yale's Ryan Murphy, 6-0, 6-0.

In the consolation rounds, Frank Algier battled against Manhattan's Diego Alvarado for four sets, before falling, 6-4, 6-7 (7-3), 5-7. Sophomore Alain Boletta fell to Columbia's Mike Fishell, 7-6, (8-6), 6-4, while Michael Nassif fell to Martin Moore of Columbia, 6-3, 6-1.
