Baltimore, Md. - The Marist women's swimming and diving team (4-1, 4-0 MAAC) trails three opponents after one day of competition at the H2Ounds Invitational, hosted by Loyola. The Red Foxes trail Colgate 50-23, Loyola 49-25 and Niagara 42-32. Senior co-captain Emily Heslin claimed victory in the 1650 freestyle to pace Marist on Day 1.
Heslin won the event in a time of 18:04.98, edging out Colgate's Amy Cole by just over three seconds.
The meet concludes tomorrow. Day 2's action begins at 10 a.m.
