GENEVA, Ohio- The Marist wmen's swim and dive team had medal filled night on day three of the MAAC Championships.
Eydis Kolbeinsdottir and
April Avila earned medals for the Red Foxes on the penultimate day of the championships.
The Red Foxes enter the final day of competition in third place with 340 points. The Red Foxes trail first-place Niagara (517) and second-place Fairfield (377) after three days of competition.
- Eydis Kolbeinsdottir started the night for the Red Foxes with a silver medal in the 100-yard butterfly. Kolbeinsdottir captured the podium finish with a time of 56.13.
- Sophia Swanson finished in eighth place in the A-final with a time of 57.28.
- The Red Foxes had two A-finalists in the 400-yard IM event on day three.
- Sabrina Conrad led the way for the Red Foxes with a fifth-place finish, which timed in a 4:25.91.
- Genevieve O'Neil rounded out the 400 IM for the Red Foxes with an eighth-place finish and timed in a 4:29.15.
- Charlotte Lepis swam in the 200-yard freestyle for the Red Foxes in the A-finals. Lepis swam to a seventh-place finish with an impressive time of 1:52.60.
- In the 100-yard breaststroke, April Avila captured bronze for the Red Foxes. Avila swam to a dominant time of 1:02.35 for her podium finish.
- Rae Dodson also swam a dominant race in the 100-yard breaststroke with a fourth-place finish. Dodson clocked in at 1:02.82, narrowly finishing behind Avila.
- Genevieve O'Neil led the Red Foxes in the A-final of the 100-yard backstroke. O'Neil finished in eighth-place with an impressive swim of 57.34.
- The Red Foxes compete in the final day of the MAAC Championships.
- Preliminary races begin at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
