West Point, NY- The Marist College men's tennis team closed out the 2003-04 regular season with a 5-2 loss at Army this afternoon at West Point.

The Red Foxes were able to pick up the double point as Mark Santucci and Nick Bass defeated Rafael Albornoz and John Sabia, 8-3. Freshman Pedro Genovese and senior Chris Hagen earned the second doubles win defeating Michael Good and John Houghton, 8-6.

Genovese picked up the only Red Foxes singles win defeating Albornoz in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. Santucci played well against Houghton at the number three singles but could not notch the victory falling, 6-4, 7-5.

Marist will look to capture their sixth consecutive conference title as they travel to Flushing, NY for the 2004 MAAC Tournament April 23-25th.
