POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.-The Marist men's basketball squad will hold its alumni game at 3 p.m. in the McCann Center on Saturday, January 28. The game will be held prior to the Red Foxes' 7:30 p.m. matchup that evening with arch rival Siena.

Admission to the alumni game is open to the general public and is free.

Former NBA All-Star Rik Smits ('88) will also be in attendance and participate in the game. The 7-4 center from Eindhoven, Holland established 25 school records over the course of his storied career, while receiving AP honorable mention All-America honors in 1988.

Additionally, Marist will unveil the Red Foxes' new 1,000-point banner at halftime of the Marist-Siena contest. The banner will list all 22 of the Red Foxes' 1,000-point scorers chronologically.
