NEW PALTZ, N.Y.-The Marist men's tennis squad defeated Fairfield by a score of 7-0 Tuesday afternoon at SUNY New Paltz to run its record to 9-5 overall and 6-1 in league play. Fairfield dropped to 11-7 overall and 5-1 in the MAAC.
The Red Foxes swept all matches played in straight sets with the lone exception coming in Yannick Sollberger's three-set win over Fairfield's Glen Gannon at No. 6.
The men will now turn their attention to a 2 p.m. match Thursday against Hartford.
