STORRS, Conn.-The Marist men's tennis squad defeated Connecticut Tuesday by a score of 7-0 on the UConn campus. The Red Foxes improved to 11-5 with the victory, while the Huskies dropped to 5-13.
Marist won every match on the afternoon, with Pedro Genovese, Brendon Van Wasbeek, Leonardo Rodriguez, Ray Josephs, Gregory Marks and Federico Rolon all recording singles victories.
The Red Foxes will now turn their attention to the final match of the regular season, a home date with Boston University on Wednesday at 3:00 at SUNY-New Paltz.
