POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Marist men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host Seton Hall in their final dual-meet of the season on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The Red Foxes will honor eight seniors prior to the meet. The ceremony will start at 12:45.
Seton Hall and Marist have competed against each other for the past four years, with each meet coming down to the last several events to decide the winner.
Last season the women won by a final of 162.5-137.5, and the men won 156-144.
The Marist women (5-4) are led by senior's Melissa Mangona (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), and Jamie Falco (North Haven, Conn.). Mangona holds the school record in the 3 meter diving event (282.3), and has been named MAAC Diver of the Week five times this year. Falco holds school records in the 100 and 200 yard freestyles, and the 50, 100, and 200 yard backstrokes.
The men will look to senior's Greg Jablonski (Massapequa, N.Y.) and Devon O'Nalty (East Hartford, Conn.). Jablonski has the Red Fox record in the 200 yard backstroke, and has been a force in the breaststroke and IM events all season. O'Nalty has been the MAAC Diver of the Week three times this season and posted an amazing 309.83 off the 3 meter board in a dual-meet versus Lehigh.
Following the meet, the Red Foxes will take a week off before heading to Loyola for the MAAC Championships (February 14-16).
