POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Marist senior swimmer Sandra Bujalski (Thomaston, Conn.) of the women's team was announced as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) women's swimmer of the week Tuesday afternoon. She helped guide the Red Foxes to a 2-0 week with home victories over Lehigh and Southern Connecticut State.

Bujalski won the 200-yd. butterfly with a time of 2:10.39 as Marist cruised past Lehigh on Tuesday night by the score of 137-99. She also played a part in both relays that finished first. The 400-yd. medley relay finished with a time of 4:01.62, while she anchored the 400-yd. freestyle relay won with a time of 3:45.70. On Saturday, in a win over Southern Connecticut, Bujalski won the 200-yd. IM and 200-yd. butterfly with times of 2:11.51 and 2:09.66, respectively. She holds top-five times in both events within the MAAC.

The Red Foxes will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24 when they travel to UMBC for a noon meet with the Retrievers.
