POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Sophomore Adam Vess (Cromwell, Conn.) of the Marist men's track and field team had the 10th-best time in the Eastern region in the 3,000 meters during the indoor season, according to Walt Murphy's Eastern Track collegiate indoor best list.

Vess' best time in the 3K was 8:08.99, which came on at the New Balance Collegiate Meet at the New York City Armory on Feb. 6.

The Marist men's and women's track and field teams continue their outdoor seasons today, as they compete at the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton University.
