Marist begins the 2010 season with back-to-back home games against non-conference foes Sacred Heart and Bucknell on Friday, Sept. 3 and Saturday, Sept. 11, respectively. Marist will have postgame fireworks after the season-opening matchup with the Pioneers. Prior to the gridiron contest against the Bucknell Bison, the Marist Athletics Department will host the first annual Red Fox Trot 5K at 9:30 a.m. Registration for the 5K can be found HERE.
Following a bye week, Marist wraps up a three-game homestand to open the season against Pioneer Football League (PFL) foe Morehead State on Sept. 25 at noon. All children age 14 and under will receive a FREE ticket to the game with the paid admission of an adult. Additionally, there will be a pregame tailgate sponsored by Clear Channel Radio of the Hudson Valley located in the Donnelly Hall parking lot.
The Red Foxes return to Poughkeepsie for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 16 at noon when they host the San Diego Toreros. This will be the sixth all-time meeting in the Marist-San Diego series and first time the teams have met in Poughkeepsie.
