STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Freshman Mohamed Eid (Ridgewood, N.J.) paced the Marist men's outdoor track and field team at Wednesday's Stony Brook Invitational with a second-place finish in the 10,000-meter run. Eid clocked a time of 33:50.36.
Overall, the Red Foxes competed in nine events at the meet. Freshman Tyler Schwarz (Fairfield, Conn.) took third in the 200-meter dash in 23.52 seconds.
Marist will return to action on Friday at the Sam Howell Invitational, held at Princeton University.
