EDISON, N.J. – Freshman Karly Haraden (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week following her performance in Marist's season opener Oct. 17, the conference announced Oct. 23.

Making her collegiate debut, Haraden won three individual events in the Red Foxes' 172-121 win over Canisius in McCann Natatorium. She swam the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:31.40 to take first place, picked up a first-place time of 2:06.55 in the 200-yard backstroke and won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:10.06. She met the ECAC A Qualifying Standard in all three events.

The Red Foxes will face Fordham in their first non-conference dual meet of the season at 6 p.m. Oct. 23.
