Tobias Earns 18th Career Diver of the Week Award

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference named senior Kimberly Tobias (San Jose, Calif.) the Women's Diver of the Week on Oct. 29 following her NCAA-qualifying performance in Marist's dual meet at Fordham on Oct. 23.

The award was Tobias' first of the season and 18th of her career. Between the men's and women's teams, the Red Foxes picked up three out of the four weekly MAAC awards.

Tobias earned a spot at the NCAA Zone Qualifier Diving Championships in Marist's second meet of the season by scoring 281.70 points in the 3-meter dive. She also won the 1-meter event with a score of 250.95 points to rack up 18 total points for the Red Foxes.

Entering today, Tobias owns the highest score in the MAAC at three meters. Her score of 253.80 points in the 1-meter dive in the season opener against Canisius is second highest in the conference.

The Red Foxes will return to McCann Natatorium at 1 p.m. Nov. 8 for a dual meet against MAAC rival Fairfield.
