EDISON, New Jersey - Marist swimmer
Anna Grazulis was selected as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Female Student-Athlete of the Week.
Grazulis registered top three finishes in the 200-yard butterfly against Fairfield and Southern Connecticut State during the 2015-16 regular season. At the 2016 MAAC Championships she swam in the 1,000-yard freestyle, 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard individual medley. Grazulis concluded last season at the ECAC Championships, a meet in which she competed in the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly and 400-yard individual medley.
A senior journalism major, Grazulis has earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic Team the last two seasons. She recently served on a student panel that discussed how millenials consume news at the Associated Press Sports Editors Northeast Meeting, which was held on the Marist College campus Nov. 7.
