nd minute. Siena's Madison Vasquez would capitalize off a feed from Casey Scott and put the Saints ahead. Marist kept the pressure on and would dominate play the rest of the half but could never tally the equalizing goal.
Â
- Marist would have 10 shots and even more chances inside the box but stout Siena defense kept the Red Foxes' shots on goal tally to just one.
- Brianna Robinson led the Red Foxes in shots and had the lone shot on goal for Marist.
- Makala Foley made three saves in goal for the Red Foxes.
"Tough game overall, I thought we outplayed them in the second half but they got a really nice goal. We just couldn't find the back of the net with lots of opportunities created but in the end we just couldn't execute. I'm proud of the effort that they put in, it was a solid team effort all around for a great group of seniors, we're sad to see it end." – Head coach Gene Smith.
