POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football program looks forward to welcoming the class of 2021 in the coming weeks.
“We're putting together a quality class of student-athletes,” said head coach Jim Parady, who is entering this 26th season at the helm in 2017. “We look forward to seeing this group contribute on the field and in the classroom. Our class once again represents student-athletes from all across the country.”
Marist's incoming class will include student-athletes from nine states: Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
In accordance with NCAA rules, the Marist Athletics Department will make an official announcement when the entire class has accepted a signed written offer of institutional admission.
The 2016 season marked the fourth straight year that Marist had a record of at least .500 in PFL play, which included a league championship in 2013. The Red Foxes had a 5-3 mark in the PFL and finished 5-6 overall. Marist will open the 2017 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Bucknell.
