POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist women's soccer team defeated the University of New Hampshire 1-0 Sunday afternoon at Tenney Stadium. With the win, the Red Foxes are now 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats drop their first game of the season and now stand at 3-1.

Senior
Camille Bowen was able to score the lone goal for Marist at 53', when she converted from a cross by junior
Tori Flaherty. The goal was enough for the Red Foxes to fend off the Wildcats, as the defense was able to contain New Hampshire's offense to only two shots on goal throughout the game.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Bowen recorded her first goal of the season at 53', she led the Red Foxes in goals last season with 10.
- Senior goalkeeper Makala Foley is now 2-0 with two shutouts at Tenney Stadium this season.

Although Marist was outshot 12-11 by the Wildcats on the day, Marist had the advantage in shots on goal, 8-2.
