BUFFALO, New York - The Marist women's soccer team takes its 4-4-1(1-0 MAAC) record to Buffalo, NY for a Wednesday afternoon conference matchup against the Canisius. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 P.M.

The Red Foxes defeated Rider at home 1-0 on Saturday night.
Camille Bowen netted the game winning goal at the 72 minute mark with an assist from
Brianna Robinson and
Kristen Reilly. Rider had only two shots on goal the whole game and goalkeeper
Makala Foley saved both of them.

The Red Foxes leading scorer from last season, Bowen again paces the team with three goals. Freshman defender
Nicole Sasso trails just behind her with two goals. Six other Red Foxes have scored a goal so far this season.

With a win over Canisius, the Red Foxes would start 2-0 in MAAC play for the first time since 2013 when they defeated Manhattan and Niagara in their two opening games.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN GRIFFINS
The Golden Griffins are 5-2-1(0-0-1 MAAC) so far this season. They are coming off of a double overtime scoreless tie at Iona. Canisius had seven shots on goal and goalkeeper Alana Rossi had six saves.
