POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team (2-4 overall, 2-1 Pioneer Football League) will host Davidson (5-2, 2-2) on Saturday at Tenney Stadium as part of Homecoming & Reunion Weekend. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

- Marist erased deficits of 14 points at halftime and 10 points entering the fourth quarter for a 20-17 triumph at Jacksonville. It was the Red Foxes' first road victory against Jacksonville in program history.
- Davidson, which had won its previous two games, fell at home by a score of 35-28 to Morehead State. The Wildcats racked up 309 yards on the ground.
- The Marist football team will be hosting a #SetTheExpectation game on Saturday. The campaign was founded by Brenda Tracy and is being presented in conjunction with the Marist Center for Student-Athlete Enhancement.

- Senior wide receiver Juston Christian is the Football Championship Subdivision's active leader in receiving yards (3,545).
- Christian is also 260 yards shy of the PFL's all-time record for receiving yards, which is currently held by Valparaiso's Rob Giancola (3,804 from 2001-04).
- Marist has outscored the opposition 20-0 in the fourth quarter in its two wins this season.
- Last Saturday's win at Jacksonville marked the first time the Red Foxes erased a double-digit fourth quarter deficit to win since 2014, which also occurred against Jacksonville.
- Marist is 9-1 against Davidson all-time, with five straight wins.
Marist heads back to the road to face PFL foe Morehead State on Saturday, Oct. 27. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
