HAMDEN, Connecticut – A goal gave Marist the early lead, but Quinnipiac's answer left the game tied until the very end. With the draw, the Red Foxes hold onto the second seed in the MAAC with one game left in the regular season.

- In the first half, Marist held the advantage in shots 8-6 and shots on goal 4-3.
- Bianca Furci scored in the 37th minute off a corner kick assist by Alexa Svensson to take the lead 1-0.
- Quinnipiac turned up the shot attempts in the second half, tallying 12 to Marist's 4.
- The Bobcats' Selena Salas fired in a shot that rebounded off the crossbar to tie the game 1-1 in the 51st minute.
- The score would remain tied through the rest of regulation and two overtime periods, despite solid attempts from both teams.
- Goalkeeper Abigail Renaud made 6 saves to keep the Red Foxes in the game.
- Alexa Svensson's assist was her eighth of the season, one away from tying the Marist record held by Rycke Guiney (2011).
- Nicole Sasso and Kristen Prevosto led the Red Foxes in shots with four each.
- With the tie, Marist has 19 points in the MAAC standings with a game to go.
- The second seed will be determined based on results of Marist and Siena's games come Wednesday.

Marist will host Fairfield on Wednesday, October 24 for the final game of the regular season. The MAAC playoffs are set to begin on October 28
th.
