POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Having earned a first round bye by claiming the second seed for the MAAC tournament, Marist will play their first match of the playoffs tomorrow at 7 p.m. Siena comes into the game after winning in overtime against No. 6 Quinnipiac.
- The Red Foxes defeated Siena on October 17 to clinch their berth in the playoffs.
- Katey Samarro and Nicole Sasso each scored goals to lift Marist 2-0 over the Saints.
- The Red Foxes held the advantage 7-4 in shots on goal.
- Goalkeeper Abigail Renaud made four saves compared to Siena's Taylor Dorado with five.
- The Saints earned the third seed after finishing the season with a 6-2-2 MAAC record, going 10-7-3 overall.
- Taylor Dorado was named MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year, making 100 saves for a save percentage of .862.
- Madi Belvito and Amanda Holtzman were named to the MAAC Second-Team, and Ashleigh Sarafin earned All-Rookie Honors.
- Leigh Howard was named MAAC Coach of the Year, guiding the team to a 7-2-1 MAAC record to outplace their projected seed by five spots.
- Nicole Sasso was named to the MAAC Second-Team for the second consecutive year, and leads the team with four goals and two assists.
- Anna Davies and Kristen Prevosto were both named to the MAAC All-Rookie team and have supplied four goals to the offense this season.
- Alexa Svensson leads the conference with eight assists, just one away from the Marist single season record.
- The Red Foxes' MAAC record is its best since 2012.

The winner of this game will head to the MAAC Championships on November 4. They will play the winner of No. 1 Monmouth vs. No. 4 Niagara, and the highest remaining seed will host.
