POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's lacrosse team dropped their fourth game of the season against Air Force 8-7

SUMMARY
Air Force struck first with a goal from senior Nick Hruby. The teams traded goals before the Red Foxes offense answered back with three unanswered to take a 4-2 lead. Air Force cut the deficit back to one with just over four minutes to go bu the Red Fox defense held strong at the end of the first quarter to take a 4-3 lead into the second.

To start the second quarter both teams were locked down defensively not allowing each other to score. Air Force tied the game at the seven minute mark of second quarter as senior Nick Hruby scored his third of game. Red Foxes answered back to take a 5-4 lead as Gannon Morrison scored his second goal of the game.

Both teams started off slow to start the third quarter due to turnovers and good goalkeeping. Jason Intermesoli scored to get Marist on the board at the five minute mark of the third quarter to take a three-goal lead. Air Force took the momentum into the 4th quarter with three unanswered goals to tie the game at seven.
Air Force took an 8-7 lead as Nick Hruby scored his 6th goal of the game with around three minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Air Force would control the end of the game thanks to faceoff wins and timely ground balls and escape with the victory.
