MADEIRA BEACH, Florida – The Marist softball team played two games on Sunday, falling 8-0 to Middle Tennessee in six innings and defeating Eastern Michigan 6-2.
Summary of Middle Tennessee
The Marist offense had six hits over six innings. Two of those hits came off the bat of sophomore catcher

Megan Beiermeister threw a complete game with five strikeouts and only two runs allowed. She allowed 10 hits and one walk, but she was able to wiggle out of the few jams she encountered. The offense also came to life with nine hits. Freshman

Gabrielle Kelliher, Colombo, and Milam each contributed one hit. The big blast came from Milam, a two-run homer in the top of the fifth.
