COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Marist softball team dropped two games on Friday in its first day of the Reveille Classic. The Red Foxes fell to UConn, 6-2, and #7/#9 Texas A&M, 7-0.

Summary
- After a scoreless first three innings, the Red Foxes scored the game's first run in the top of the fourth. Red-shirt sophomore Claire Oberdorf singled with one out, and sophomore Ali Milam followed with an RBI double.
- Marist added a run on the fifth on a one-out double by freshman Caroline Baratta, which brought home junior Casey Page.
- UConn took the lead with a three-run fifth inning. A two-out, two-run homer by Olivia Sappington gave the Huskies the lead for good.
