Poughkeepsie, NY- The men's lacrosse team will travel to Pennsylvania on Saturday March 3
rd to take on the Drexel Dragons at 5pm.
Last Outing
The Red Foxes defeated Binghamton 8-7 for their first win of the season. Marist took a 8-5 lead in the fourth quarter. The Bearcats tried to mount a comeback but the Red Fox defense held strong in the last minute of play. Corrigan finished the game with 10 saves and a .588 save percentage.
Joe Tierney led the Red Foxes with four points coming from two goals and two assists.
Scouting Drexel
Drexel comes into the game with 0-3 record falling 12-9 to number 7 Villanova last time out. All of the Dragons losses have come at the hands of ranked opponents. Against Villanova, Dan Lanham took the majority of the face offs for Drexel and won 10 of his 20 draws. Marshal King scored a career-high four goals and Chre Teitelbaum came up with 11 saves in the game for the Dragons, including five in the third during Drexel's scoring run.

The Red Foxes defeated the Dragons 11-7 in 2017. JD Recor broke the Marist men's lacrosse all-time assists record.
Gannon Morrison and Recor combined for six goals and four assists.
Peyton Smith controlled the face off X and
Brian Corrigan made 15 saves on 22 shots.

Corrigan was one of 50 players named to the Tewaaraton Watchlist. The award is the most prestigious award in lacrosse, honoring the top players of the game. Corrigan is one of four goalies to make the list.Â
