Poughkeepsie, NY- Men's lacrosse team takes on Canisius College in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Saturday March 31st. Face-off is scheduled for 12 PM
 
Last Outing 
Marist handled Manhattan with ease as they defeated the Jaspers 12-4 last Saturday. The offense surged in the third quarter as the Red Foxes went on a 6-1 scoring run. Jake Weinman scored two shots from behind the back and Jason Intermesoli scored three unanswered goals to fuel Marist's offense.  Brian Corrigan was a fortress between the pipes with 17 saves and an astounding .850 save percentage for the game.

MAAC Player of the Week
Corrigan picked up his second MAAC defensive player of the week award this season for his play against Manhattan. The senior also made his 500^th career save during the game.

Scouting Canisius
Canisius comes into the game with a 4-5 this year with a 1-0 record in conference play. Senior Connor Kearnan recorded his third hat trick of the season and 16th of his career with his four-goal effort on Tuesday vs Hobart. Kearnan moved pass Scott Ronson (1994-97) into sole possession of 10th place on the program's all-time scoring chart with his six-point effort on Tuesday as he has amassed 138 points during his Canisius career. Senior Liam Ganzhorn recorded double-digit saves for the fifth time this season and 19th time in his career with his 11-save effort on Tuesday.
 
Last Matchup 
Marist defeated Canisus in 2017 MAAC Semifinal at Tenney Stadium 8-5 last season after losing to them in the regular season. Recor helped out on a goal from junior Gannon Morrison at 4:28 of the second quarter for his 130th career assist, surpassing the former MAAC record set by Manhattan's Eugene Tanner in 2005.
