POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist men's lacrosse team will travel to New Haven, CT to face off against #5 Yale University this Tuesday night at 7:00 pm for its last regular season game.

The Red Foxes fell short of victory, taking a 7-9 lose this past Saturday against Monmouth University. Monmouth's Hunter Jones led the Hawks with two goals and two assists. Marist's
Brian Corrigan had 11 saves on the day and
Gannon Morrison scoring a hat trick, adding one assist. Payton Smith had a strong day at the face-off position, winning 14 of 20 face-off against Monmouth.
LAST MATCHUP
This is the first time Marist Men's LAX will face off against Yale University.
TOUGH NONCONFERENCE SCHEDULE
This will be the Red Foxes third game against a ranked team this season. Marist has played against #16 Georgetown University, #2 University of Maryland, and faces #5 Yale University for its upcoming match. Bucknell, who the Red Foxes faced in their opening game, is now ranked #12.
SCOUTING YALE UNIVERSITY
Yale enters this game at 9-2 in regular season play and 5-0 Ivy League match ups. They are coming off of a 27-15 win against Brown this past Saturday afternoon. Both Ben Reeves and Joseph Sessa scored 4 goals as Reeves also had three assists and Sessa adding one assist to the game. Reeves has been the best play maker for the bulldogs this season, tallying 59 points on the season.

Marist closes out its regular season against Quinnipiac at Tenney Stadium on April 28th. The Red Foxes will also honor their seniors this day as well.
