Men's Lacrosse Travels to Siena

The Red Foxes Face Their MAAC Rival

Poughkeepsie, NY- Men's lacrosse travels to Siena College in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game on Saturday April 7th.  Face-off is scheduled for 1 pm
 
Last Outing 
Men's Lacrosse dropped a conference game to Canisius at Tenney Stadium 16-5. Gannon Morrison got the Red Foxes on the board first early in the first quarter. The Golden Griffins outshot the Red Foxes 23-11 in the first half and score eight goals. Marist struggled to contain the Canisius duo of Mathi Boissonneault and Connor Kearnan who finished the game with eight points each.

Scouting Siena
Siena comes into the game with a 2-6 record and off a 17-8 loss to MAAC foe Monmouth. Brendan Lantieri and Mike Reilly led Siena with two points apiece against Monmouth. Chris Robertson has been the leading scorer for Siena, tallying 29 points on the season.

Last Matchup
Marist defeated Siena 6-5 last season.  Five goals in the fourth quarter, including three in a span of 44 seconds, propelled the Marist men's lacrosse team to a 6-5 comeback win over Siena in the regular season finale. Marist's Michael Smith scored with six seconds left in game to seal win for the Red Foxes.

Up Next
The Red Foxes will hit the road on April 14th to take on Monmouth in a rematch of last year's MAAC final. Faceoff is set for 3:00 pm.
