POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's lacrosse team experienced one of its best seasons in 2015, when they won the most victories in program history with 14 and their second Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. The team would go on to win its first ever NCAA tournament victory as well that season.

The Red Foxes went into the MAAC tournament as the #1 seed and a perfect 6-0 record in conference play. The team won four of the six major conference awards with Senior Dominic Montemurro winning Face-Off Specialist of the Year, Senior Patrick Eaker picking up Long Stick Midfielder of the Year, Junior Joseph Radin earning Offensive Player of the Year and Head Coach
Keegan Wilkinson being named MAAC Coach of the Year. Seniors Drew Nesmith and Mike Begley were named to the First Team while sophomores
J.D. Recor and
Frankie Brier were named to the second team. Freshman
Gannon Morrison and Brett Osman picked up All Rookie Team honors.

The top seeded Red Foxes cruised past Monmouth 11-6 in the semifinal round to advance to the finals. Radin scored three of his first four goals in the first half to propel the team to victory and senior captain Dave Scarcello was solid between the pipes with 14 saves.

Marist took down Quinnipiac in the championship 16-14. During the game, Radin broke the single season scoring record by netting his 48
th goal of the year with 10:08 left in the second quarter. He was named to the All-Tournament Team along with seniors Karl Kreshpane and Mike Begley. Scarcello was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after making 23 saves during the tournament.

On selection Sunday, Marist learned they would be hosting Bryant
in the preliminary round of the NCAA Championships. It was the first time Marist hosted an NCAA tournament contest in any of its 23 sports. Going into the match up with the Bulldogs, the Red Foxes were ranked for the first time all season, cracking the top twenty in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association and Media polls. The Red Foxes beat Bryant 10-6 in front of a record crowd of 1,873 at Tenney Stadium. Freshman
Gannon Morrison led the offense with four points on two goals and two assists and Scarcello made 14 saves.

The Red Foxes took on #1 Syracuse next, falling 20-8.
