Men's & Women's Track & Field Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

Men Have First Highest GPA, Women Have 17th

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's and women's track and field teams were both named to the US Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team list.
The women came in with the 17th highest GPA in the nation while the men tied for the first highest GPA amongst men.

The men tied with Lipscomb University for the highest team GPA in the nation. In order to be in contention for Scholar Team of the Year, a program must finish highly at the respective national championship meet and have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA.

Marist also had a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference leading 27 student-athletes named to the MAAC All-Academic Team during the indoor season and a conference leading 26 during the outdoor season.

The women had a MAAC leading 24 student-athletes named to the MAAC All-Academic Team during the indoor season and the third best, 22 student-athletes named during the outdoor season.
