POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Volleyball travels south to the Bronx to take place in the Rose Hill Classic Tournament. The Red Foxes will face Fordham, Bryant and Charlotte.
 

LAST TIME OUT

Marist picked up a come from behind 3-2 victory against William & Mary but fell to Davidson and Central Arkansas 3-0 and 3-1 respectively. Morgan Owens was named to the all-tournament team and as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Libero of the week. The freshman posted 46 digs, nine assists and six service aces for the weekend.
 

TOURNAMENT MATCHUPS

The Rams went 1-2 at the Jack Kaiser Classic, taking down Central Connecticut State but dropping matches to Eastern Michigan and St. Johns. Fordham was selected to finish seventh in the Atlantic 10.

Bryant is 3-1 on the season, coming off a sweep of UMass Lowell. Freshman Caroline Kennedy 10 kills during the match for her third double-digit kill total in her career. Head coach Lauren Amundson was an assistant at Bryant from 2007-09.

Charlotte is 2-3 on the season, last playing Davidson in a 3-2 loss. In the loss, junior Yumi Garcia recorded a school record 44 digs on the season. The junior was also named to the all-tournament team at the Charlotte invitational.
