POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – It did not take long for
Juston Christian to establish himself as a big-play threat for the Marist football team.
In his first collegiate game against Sacred Heart in 2015, Christian's first career reception went for 30 yards. In the second quarter of that contest, a diving 45-yard catch on a third-and-22 helped set up a Marist touchdown in a 34-27 victory.
The next week, Christian caught his first career touchdown pass. It went for 85 yards against Jacksonville, and is the third-longest touchdown reception in program history.
As he enters his senior season, Christian finds his name prominently displayed in the program's record book. He is first all-time with 2,914 career receiving yards, tied for first with 19 career touchdown receptions, and third with 143 career receptions. He had the third 1,000-yard receiving season in program history last year with 1,096 yards. His play has earned the attention of NFL scouts, several of whom visiting the program during preseason camp.
