LOUDONVILLE, New York – After dropping the first set, Marist dominated Siena in sets two and three and edged the Saints in set four for the match win. Four Red Foxes reached double-digit points during the match. The Red Foxes are 3-0 in MAAC play and 6-7 overall.

The two teams started set one on equal grounds until Siena used a 6-0 run to take a 15-10 lead and force a Red Fox timeout. The Saints held a comfortable lead the rest of the way and came away with a 25-20 set win.
Nikki DeSerpa led both teams with six kills.

After falling behind early, the Red Foxes used an 8-1 run to take a 10-5 lead in set two.
Stephanie Stone provided a spark with three consecutive points coming from two blocks and a kill. The Red Foxes played good defense, holding the Saints to a .032 hitting percentage. They held a comfortable lead throughout the rest of the set, winning 25-14.

Set three was the Red Foxes' the entire way as they dominated the Saints 25-10. Half of Siena's points in the set came from Marist service errors or ball handling errors. The Red Foxes landed five service aces with three coming from
Morgan Owens.

Set four was the closest set of the series with no team leading by more than three points. DeSerpa came up clutch in the set, landing seven kills. The Red Foxes reached set point at 24-22 but a service error cut their lead to one. After a Marist timeout,
Sarah Austin landed a kill to close the door on any Saints comeback.

- Eight players tallied kills with three finishing in double-digits. DeSerpa led with 15 while Megan Fergus and Austin each had 12.
- Marist had 57 kills compared to Siena's 36 and only had 16 attack errors.
- Stone and Fergus continue to be a strong force in front of the net, finishing with four and three blocks respectively.
- Ten players recorded a dig with five tallying double-digit digs.
Marist will host defending MAAC Champions Fairfield on Wednesday, September 26 at 7 pm.
