LATHAM, New York – In a meet with many MAAC opponents present, the men's cross country team took fourth place out of eight teams on Saturday morning. Michael Kennedy and James Draney were the top Red Fox finishers, placing 15th and 16th respectively.
The men's race went off at 9:45Â a.m. at "The Crossings" in Latham, New York. Today's distance was an 8k, with 115 individual runners present. Teams present were Monmouth, RPI, Quinnipiac, Marist, Siena, Rider, Saint Rose and Fairfield.
Monmouth took the team title, with runners taking up many of the top-ten placings. Marist's runners ranged from 15th to the mid-twenties, displaying consistent performances through all seven competitors.
The men will compete at the Army Open hosted by West Point on Friday, September 14th.
