FAIRFIELD, Connecticut -Â Marist women's basketball (10-5, 2-1 MAAC) travels to Connecticut on Saturday, Jan. 12 to face the Fairfield Stags (3-10, 0-2 MAAC) in the fourth game of the MAAC season. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN3.

- Marist women's basketball (10-5, 2-1 MAAC) was defeated by Quinnipiac (8-6, 3-0 MAAC) on Thursday afternoon at McCann Arena.
- The Red Foxes were able to hang tough through the first half, but turnovers and offensive rebounds at the beginning of the third quarter let Quinnipiac pull ahead and win, 76-69.
- Lovisa Henningsdottir shot 5-of-6 from the field for a season-high 16 points with three rebounds, two blocks and four three-pointers.
- Fairfield lost 62-59 at Rider on Jan. 6, and enters their first game in six days.
- Khadidatou Diouf leads the Stags in scoring at 13.0 per game, while collecting 6.5 rebounds per game.
- Lou Lopez-Senechal and Katie Armstrong are averaging double-digits for Fairfield as well with 12.0 and 10.4 respectively.
- Head Coach Joe Frager is in his 12th season at the helm of the Stags, with a record of 205-155.
- Marist is 34-14 with Fairfield all-time, having won the past two contests..
- Rebekah Hand leads the NCAA in free-throw percentage (96.0). She has made 38 consecutive free throws dating back to Nov. 18.
- Alana Gilmer (42.5), Hand (41.9) and Sarah Barcello (38.5) rank second, third and fifth in the MAAC in three-point percentage.
- Grace Vander Weide leads the conference in assists per game (4.2), while Allie Best sits in fifth (3.1).
- Lovisa Henningsdottir ranks fourth in blocks per game (1.5).
The Red Foxes return home for a three-game homestand beginning with Monmouth (5-8, 1-1 MAAC) on Jan. 15 at 7 p.m.
